Hallway

The long hallway connecting the living room to all other rooms in the apartment. The bedrooms are on the right side of the hallway, and the kitchen is at the end.

Hallway, again

The other end of the hallway. I chose this picture because it shows the high quality woodwork and craftmanship evident throughout the apartment. Clearly, the landlord set out to have a policy of only allowing the highest quality work to be done.

The Shower

The magnificient, old-style shower that often does not stay connected to the wall, and consequently, is unstable. It's like a fun adventure when showering in the morning.

The clean-out

After a mass cleanout of the apartment over Labor Day weekend, this is the trash that we accumulated. We thought the kitchen was a great place to pile all of the garbage in.

Back porch view

The view from our back porch. While we don't get to see any altercations or arrests from our back porch view (as opposed to our front window view, which is quite active and exciting), we still enjoy spending time on the back porch.

The back stairwell

Out our back door, we have a back stairwell that leads to the alley. Given the high creepiness factor, we have speculated that someone was murdered at one time either in the stairwell or in the alley.
